Marsha & Teaching

"Teaching for me goes beyond the visible mechanics of movement—hence my motto, “The Feeling Between the Steps.”

My work focuses on facilitating and encouraging students who are open to growth, exploration, and transformation through movement. Many students seek dance not only to learn technique, but to integrate new patterns of expression and confidence into their everyday lives.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups who may feel hesitant about movement, lack confidence, seek social connection, desire cultural engagement, or wish to refine their technical ability. Guiding students through this process is both a privilege and a responsibility that I take seriously.

Regardless of circumstance, one constant remains: my dedication and passion for the art and practice of dance.

The success of the student-teacher relationship lies in thoughtful communication, trust, and timing. As the student chooses the teacher, the teacher also chooses the student.

To all of my students—past, present, and future—thank you. Your growth continues to inspire my work and passion.
